Olivia Rafferty

Olivia received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with minors in Spanish and Business from Arizona State University. She started law school at the James E. Rogers College of Law one year after graduating from Arizona State and spent her gap year working at a junior high in a special needs classroom. Olivia’s passion for science and healthcare inspired her to come to law school and become involved in the Tech Law program. She spent the summer following her first year of law school interning at a health law firm, as well as at the Tempe City Attorney’s office, where she was exposed to a broad array of subject matters. She is focusing on gaining more exposure to Tech Law her 2L year, with participation in the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship clinic at the law school and as a member of the Journal of Emerging Technologies. She is excited to continue learning about the intersection between science, technology, and the law throughout the next two years.
