Violet completed her Bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology at Arizona State University. For her thesis project, she studied the food-energy-water nexus in Arizona with a specific focus on environmental justice issues. After completing her undergraduate degree, Violet worked at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office as an administrative assistant. She then moved to Colorado where she worked in the civil division of the US Attorney’s Office in Denver. Violet chose to return to Arizona for her legal education in large part due to the opportunity that the TechLaw fellowship provides. She is excited to dive further into TechLaw with more coursework in the area and her participation with the Journal of Emerging Technologies. In her free time, Violet likes to spend time with her dog and discover some fun finds at local thrift stores.
